Great authentic Korean food and lunch special prices make this place even better! Colorful paper menus give you an idea of what you’re gonna get and is great for non-Korean speakers. The restaurant is clean and they bus the tables quickly. Only sad thing was the banchan options were limited to only 5 dishes. The stone pots are wider and more shallow than most hot stone pots but that means there’s more extra crispy rice to enjoy! The pork katsu was perfectly crispy and was served on a metal wire tray to retain its crispiness.

Their tonkatsu is really good. There are three pieces and you must eaten it hot caz it is crispy. I like to dip with the white Mayo spices that is for the salad.

A big lot for parking, friendly staff, and delicious food!! They remodeled and it’s redecoration looks nice and cleaner! Ordered the beef tofu soup and it was delicious (mild spice with brown/purple rice)!! Their banchan (side dishes) are really good too. My fav are the bean sprouts, spicy cucumbers, and kimchi!! It’s now $15.90 for just tofu soup and rice.

So tender is the young dong. Look, is the sundubu jjigae as legendary as Beverly Soon Tofu (RIP)? Probably not. But the kindness of the staff, ease of access/parking, and the solid galbi/bulgogi combos make it a worthwhile visit. We were nearby and ventured in with our 2 and 3yo (gasp!), and the staff couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating to us. Banchan is maybe a 6.5/10. Anyone looking for a satisfying soon tofu will not be disappointed.

Food was delicious. All of the banchan was so good, I could’ve eaten that as a meal. My hubby and I had the beef+kimchi tofu soup and shared the bulgogi stone plate. They were both flavorful and fulfilling. Parking can get a little hectic on a Friday night, but it’s a decent sized parking lot. Expect there to be a wait but it does go by quickly. The staff was also very attentive and efficient. It seemed like they go around tables often to make sure everyone’s okay. Highly recommend!

This review is only for the cold noodle. it is off their menu and maybe only for summer time. It has no taste what so ever! Just like cucumber water. The beef slices were tough. As you can see in the picture, I only ate the tough beef and half of the boiled noodle. Everything else is trash! They shouldn't serve this at all. I gave 4 stars for the service and their other food. It is still good to come here, just don't order the cold noodle

Was craving for some Korean tofu soup and this place does not disappoint. The Banchan selections are great. Their kimchi varieties are made daily. We had the Beef and seafood tofu soup and the spicy squid rice in hot pot stone pot. Everything is just fantastic. They don't charge for hot tea or water. Free refill on the banchan! Servers were pretty attentive and you don't feel crowded even though the restaurant was busy.

Young Dong, the place with the good food but unfortunate name. But don't let the double entendre deter you from coming here. The enjoyment begins with their vast menu and it's always hard to decide on what to get. Sometimes I'm in the mood for spicy pork, sometimes I want tonkatsu, other times I want their spicy octopus rice, and so on. Lots and lots of enticing dishes to order here. While they may not be the best in any particular category, they are decent in most and their Korean village decor and ambience just makes you feel at ease. And to top it off, the wait staff that I encountered yesterday were so awesome. Super experienced and the friendliest crew I can remember. So go get some Young Dong now! Sorry that sounded awful.
